These revolutionary materials are designed to maintain the midpoint of a narrow temperature range, such as 2°C to 8°C (+35.6°F to +46.4°F) for pharmaceuticals and +1°C to +10°C (+33.8°F to +50°F) for certain blood and biologics products. Because external heat is absorbed by melting the materials (conversely they release energy as heat to combat cold environments), external environmental conditions never penetrate the payload. The key is a Thermal-Lok hyper-insulation panel which utilizes nanotechnology in a patented and proprietary packing protocol.

Thermal-Lok panels offer unparalleled resistance to heat transfer. With Thermal-Lok panels there are no sealed cells and virtually all the gas (air) is evacuated; this essentially eliminates the ability of heat to transfer through the panel. As a result of this nano-technology core structure, the transference of thermal energy (hot or cold) is significantly impeded.
